Every answer becomes another beginning.

I do not expect curiosity to lead to one final direction. I hope it continues to deepen the questions I ask, the work I pursue, and the way I understand people.

CURIOSITY

Questions Worth Asking.

Some questions stay with us much longer than answers. For me, curiosity is not about collecting facts. It is about understanding people, challenging assumptions, and learning to ask better questions. My research, projects, and future goals all begin here.

Questions I Keep Returning To

QUESTION 01

How do people decide to trust?

WHAT I BEGAN TO NOTICE

Through mental health research, I have learned that trust rarely begins with having the right answer. It often begins when someone feels that their experience has been heard and taken seriously. That idea continues to shape how I think about communication, research, and technology.

QUESTION 02

Can technology understand emotion?

WHAT I AM STILL WONDERING

Technology has become remarkably good at recognizing patterns, but understanding emotion may require more than prediction. I am interested in whether an intelligent system can respond to human context without reducing emotion to data points.

QUESTION 03

Why do some conversations change lives?

WHAT RESEARCH TAUGHT ME

My research experiences have shown me that meaningful conversations often begin with thoughtful questions rather than immediate solutions. Sometimes a person needs space to explain what they are experiencing before advice can become useful.

QUESTION 04

What makes a person feel understood?

WHAT SEEMS TO MATTER

Feeling understood seems to depend on more than the words being spoken. Timing, context, attention, and the willingness to listen can matter just as much. I want to understand how those qualities can remain present when communication is mediated by technology.

QUESTION 05

Can empathy influence the way we design technology?

HOW THIS SHAPES DESIGN

I do not think empathy should be treated as a feature added after a system has already been built. It should influence which problems we choose, whose experiences we consider, and how we measure whether a design is actually helping someone.

QUESTION 06

How should we decide which problems are worth solving?

WHERE THIS LEADS

The most visible problems are not always the most meaningful ones. Sometimes useful work begins by noticing a small difficulty that people have learned to accept as normal, and then asking whether it could be made better.
